Interactive folding board

Brief: Choose an interaction with objects or systems within our daily lives that could be enhanced to be more delightful. Using Arduino and model-making materials, create a proof-of-concept prototype that can afford tangible interactions.
Solution: Senchaku is a fun and exciting clothes folding board that enhances the mundane task of folding laundry. Complete with an origami-themed folding board and timer, challenge yourself and others by timing how fast you can fold clothes and feel like an origami master as you dish out crisp and cleanly folded laundry in record time.

Clean and stylish
Inspired from Japanese origami, the folding board is white with red accents to create a stylish flair and to help conceal the technology.
Small and impactful
The chess clock-inspired two-timer dials keep track of how many clothes have been folded and how much time is left.
